Daltonic Out Cry – Back In My Town – Review

“Back In My Town” is Daltonic Out Cry’s new album, officially released on November 20th, 2015 and presented in San Paolo al Tagliamento (PN). The historic band from Pordenone, founded in 1996 (20th anniversary this year), brings out 10 hardcore punk tracks, definitely New York style, influenced by bands like Agnostic Front (see the closing track, a cover of their “United Blood”), Sick Of It All and Madball. The sound is strong and impressive, the breaks are crushing and the 4 members’ technique is excellent; bass guitar and drums are powerful and versatile, Dario’s guitar riffs are precise and energetic and the voice gives vitality to every single track. The outstanding tracks in this album are “Hardcore Style Life”, “Slave”, “Back In My Town” and “Look At Me Now”, which are also those with the best impact on stage. The track order is one of the album’s best qualities: it starts high and bounces back in the middle, and the last two tracks perfectly close a very good and powerful album. Hardcore Style Life!
