DeeCRACKS and Teenage Bubblegums live in Camino al Tagliamento(UD) – 1/23/15

I told myself twothousand times to go see Teenage Bubblegums, an Italian trio from Forlì, and DeeCracks, a great band from Austria, and finally I had the chance to do so!
The concert was held the 23rd of January 2015 in Camino al Tagliamento (Udine). I arrived around 9.30pm with my punk-mobile, listening to punk-rock music. The place is an agritourism, it’s very cool, rustic but well-kept and the organizers are part of the cultural association “Il Gnotul”. The dj set was great and during the whole evening it overwhelmed us with punk-rock and some hc.
The live show started around 10.30pm with Teenage Bubblegum. They performed for 15-20 minutes, entertained us with their pop-punk filled with love songs and made the first rows of the crowd go crazy and their energetic, entertaining and captivating style accompanied us for this first part of the show and left us satisfied.
After some changes on the stage, the show went on with DeeCracks, an Austrian band that since 2003 plays it hard with their Ramones influenced punk-rock. A Mosrite guitar, a Fender Squier bass and great drumming! There’s not much innovation, but there sure is the willingness to go on stage and burst out with their own songs, which are catchy and well articulated by lead singer Matt and by Mike’s backing vocals. They played for about 30 minutes and after that they performed some requests and a Ramones cover. All their hits were there: “Regeneration”, “Don’t rely on me” and “Monkey boy”, famous for Mike’s monkey-like sounds. In the end, it was a great 45 minute party with moshing, stage diving and jokes. What else…it was an awesome concert and the audience and the two bands were fantastic! It was a great show!
PS: I’m for not having the setlists, I couldn’t find them…And it’s way better to mosh and jump at a punk-rock concert!
