Harry Fotter – Nient’Altro Che Un Punk Rocker – Review

The Harry Fotter are back with their new record entitled “Nient’Altro che un Punk Rocker” (Nothing but a Punkrocker). The band, based in Caltanissetta (Sicily, Italy), is been active for years, playing a sincere and plainspoker punkrock, which turns out to be simple and effective.
Even in this new record they don’t give up their style, with their direct and spontaneous lyrics mixed with their catchy riffs giving to their music a melodic mark to the usual power chords.
The album’s sound is pretty tight and the most of the tunes has a fast/medium-fast tempo, while some songs like “Quando ti vedrei morire” and “Tu C’eri” have an even faster tempo. There are three slow dance tunes as well, “Terzo Banco Fila a Destra”, “Ascolti ancora i Blue Vertigo?” and “Psicofarmaco Della Dimenticanza”.
Lots of the songs have funny or even demential intros that really fit the style of this band and of its guitarist Daniele Venti.
I definitely suggest y’all to listen to this record which is one of the best punkrock albums of this year (2014) here in Italy, thanks to the turnover of melancholic, funny and sarcastic songs.
Congrats to the Harry Fotters and to their “Nient’Altro Che Un Punk Rocker”, well done guys!
