R: Radio Punk
BP: Bom Pro’

R: Hi guys, welcome to Radio Punk, introduce yourselves in total freedom…
BP: Hi! We are Bom Pro’ from Rosignano Silvay(Livorno) and we’ve been in the scene for 17 years and we’ll never die or better we hope so…We play punk rock influenced by Ramones with italian lyrics that talk about things that you can’t imagine knowing our age

R: Why did you choose the name Bom Pro’?
BP: It derives from our drummer Tony(Founder of our band 1997-2010) that after a burp made by one of our member said to him: “Bom Pro” which in italian means: “much good may it do you”.

R: I found out that you released your new album called “Autobus N7”, so why don’t you talk about your discography and your merchandise?
BP: We released 7 self-produced albums and videos, and “Autobus N7” is the eighth album and it contains some unpublished songs that we wrote throughout the years and they are very different from each other. We released a video from “Tromba Daria”, one of the songs from the album. The title is in honor to Diego Massei(singer of The Brilli”). Merchandise? Yes we have pins, stickers and t-shirts with a giraffe with a baseball bat in honor to the Ramones song “Beat on The Brat”

R: …And what about future Projects, Demos, Live shows or other initiatives?
BP: We’ll be in tour to promote the album all over Italy and then we’ll do a mini-tour in Spain…

R: In these years you’ve done a lot of gigs…What was or what were your favourite live shows?
BP: We had a lot of great live shows…We played with the Queers in 2012 at La Spezia in a fantastic place called Skaletta…Then we played 6 times with our friends SenzaBenza, we played in Sardinia with Colvins, Fuss and our favourite band Lazy Bones…We played with Apers, Punkreas, Leeches, Accelerators, The Spazzys(a female band from Australia) and other bands…

R: What do you think about the actual punk rock scene from Tuscany and what’s changed throughout the years?
BP: Since we began, everything changed…one time there was more passion, now there’s envy and arrogance. In Rosignano we have beaches and it’s nice! In Florence there were a lot of great concerts and now there’s nothing!

R: So we are at the end of this interview…Something you want to say to our readers(considerations, regards, insults, contacts…whatever you want)? Thanks for the time you gave us and see you soon!
BP: Thanks for the interview and listen to us…GABBA GABBA HEY!! For any contacts this is our e-mail address: bompropunkrocksince1997@gmail.com and we are also on Facebook(bompropunkrock) BYE!
