Interview with Ricordi?

Their name has a question mark inside, they’re Italian, motivated and they want to promote their music, so let’s start with the interview…here you are Ricordi?
Line-up:
Sergio: Vocals, Guitar
Andrea: Bass, Vocals
Guido: Drums

R: Radio Punk
A: Andrea
G: Guido
S: Sergio

R: Hi guys, as usual introduce yourselves…
A: Hi we are Ricordi? and we are a DIY band that comes from around Romagna, in Italy, even though we currently live in different areas. We’ve been playing for some months and our name is the Italian translation of “Husker Du”, one of the bands that inspired us the most.

R: Which bands influenced your music?
S: There are a lot of bands that influence us. However in a few words we can say that we’ve been listening to punk rock since forever…And some bands that come to my mind are Nirvana, Fugazi, Dinosaur Junior, Minuteman, Husker Du, Kina, etc.

R: What can you say about the EP that you’re recording, your live shows, merchandise and other projects?
S: We’re going to record an EP with 4 tracks by us and a cover and we don’t know how to call it yet…This EP will contain a lot of different sounds: Washington Post Hardcore, Seattle Grunge, Surf Rock and Californian Punk Rock…
A: We’re playing a lot of good gigs with foreign bands in Italy. As for the merchandising, we have a T-Shirt made by the Celeste collective based in Pesaro and the graphic is the cover of our single “Duemila Treni” which is a photo of a slide in an Icelandic aquatic park.

R: What does playing you genre in these times mean for you?
G: It means to cause nostalgia to thirty-year-olds and over…joking aside, it means playing what we like. It’s a sort of tribute to our roots. So it means to have fun.

R: So we are at the end of the interview and you can say whatever you want (also threats and insults)…thank you very much and see you soon!
A: Thanks for the interview and for giving room to underground punk bands. You can find us on our Facebook page and if you want to organize a concert in your city we’ll be glad to play.
G: Thanks for the interview, we send you a hug and we hope that soon you’ll be able to listen to our first EP.
