Split album Minoranza di Uno/L’Ordegno – Review

Being a very DIY launch, this 4-tracks split contains songs from Minoranza di Uno and L’ordegno with a very essential design, communicating through its cover bleakness and misery. The Minoranza di Uno’s side features “Working Class Zero” and “La Stanza 101”, are two tracks that are typically coming from a genre of music that is oriented to hardcore punk, with their powerful riffs and rythms. The lyrics are all about alienation related to working, enough to mention that “La Stanza 101”, room 101 is the room dedicated to tortures in Orwells’ “1984”. A good no-frills old-school hardcore punk for “L’Ordegno”, delivers reflexive lyrics about Life in “Nato di Luglio” and ruthless critics to the working world and the capitalistic concepts, actually denying the freedom of individuals. We have here a very nice spit which, with only 4 tracks, hits the target speaking to your heart and to your brain. These very substantial songs could definitely open the eyes and wake up those who still haven’t thought about these topics and matters.
Out of curiosity, the opening speech in “Working Class Zero” is taken from “La Classe Pperaia Va In Paradiso” di “Elio Petri”. Give it a look, it’s worth it!
