Strung Out – Transmission.Alpha.Delta – Review

Here are the Californians Strung Out with their 8th album to their name for Fatwreck, “Transmission.Alpha.Delta”, that arrives more than 5 years after their last work, “Agents of the Underground”. They come back with an album in full style with melodies and influences ultra melodic-metal that have always distinguished themselves.
It starts with “Rats In The Walls”, a melodic and strained classic, followed by “ The animal and the machine”, “black maps” and “Rebellion of the snakes” where we travel at high speed, but with lines more “metal”.
Among my favorites: the calm “Modern drugs” and the melodic “Nowhersville”, in addition to the already mentioned “The animal and the machine”. In conclusion, if I should give an honest opinion, I can relieve the Strung Out’s fans saying that they won’t be disappointed by this new album, which is of impact and strong in the sounds, surely varied in its metal, melodic and punk influences.
