P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. / Tear Me Down / Kontatto / Impulso – November 3rd, 2017 – Freakout Club, Bologna

Great and fun evening at the Freakout in Bologna. We arrive early, so early that the drummer from the band P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. sees us and invites us to a birthday party and we soon find out that the birthday boy is Coppa from the band Kontatto (happy birthday!). After a while, we meet our friends from Tear Me Down, and Caciotta tells us many things, one of which is about a cursing competition. We also chat with other friends and, as usual, we meet new people.
There is still one thing I don’t understand: arriving early and not seeing the band Impulso, the first band of the evening, to whom I apologize for not being there for their show. Nonetheless we hope to see you soon!

The second band to walk on stage is my favorite band; they are legendary. To me they are a way of life; one of those bands that, when I’m down, gives me the strength to get back up and fight to change things. I’m talking about the band Tear Me Down. They start their thirty minute show with the track “Tu hai perso il mio rispetto”. Everybody is moshing and singing along. During their performance they play “Parlare è economico” and “Nei tuoi occhi”. It was a delirium: a whole lot singing, crowd-surfing and a stage-diving. They end the show with two great tracks: “10, 100, 1000 acca larentia” and “PSM II”.

After this great performance, we go see the band P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S., band from Portland, Oregon, which recently caught our attention. They don’t let us down by playing a mixture of Rock n Roll and garage punk. It’s one of those bands that, if you like one song, you definitely like the whole discography! Plus they really know how to handle the stage. They are currently touring Europe, so go see them and you never know, the drummer might invite you for a drink, just like with us!

The last band is Kontatto, which for the third time they delight us with a set from Wretched! It’s like great party: everybody is singing out loud and the audience is ecstatic at the Freakout Club. The band is having fun and they create that classing situation in which there is no difference between entertainers and audience.

The evening ends with a dj set from the Bologna City Rockers and after many beers and long but delightful chats, we finally head back home.
Congrats to the Freakout Club for the great venue, defined by a genuine punk atmosphere. Congrats to bands and to all the people that support them!
We want to end this report by dedicating it to our friend who is currently fighting: you can do it Massa, a big hug!
