Review: The Hallingtons – Hexed

Old school punkrock from Oslo

On August 30th “Hexed”, the new E.P. by Norwegians The Hallingtons, was released by the oh so famous Monster Zero Records.
Six old school Ramonescore tunes hella influenced by the 90’s Queers both in music and lyrics. Choruses, melodies, raging drums, chainsaw guitars and a juggernaut base are the right ingredients for a dozen (maybe less) minutes of merry punk rock.
“Not my deal” stands out and makes me think to Ramones’ Animal Boy or Halfway To Sanity played by Teen Idols
Summing up it’s an enjoyable feature to be added to your collection of Ramones’ grandsons.
