SENZA FRONTIERE – NON SAPREMO DI NOI! – Review

Senza Frontiere, oi/street-punk band from Milan, just released their latest album, “Non Sapremo Di Noi!”, produced by Rock Out Fascism and Rusty Knife Records.
The album is made of 10 2 to 3 minute long tracks.
Like almost all the albums of this genre, it makes much more sense to talk about it in general, because originality isn’t its first quality, to say it in a kind way.
Every song of this album is imbue with anger, anti-fascism and street life: these themes make this album so interesting.
Like I said before, this band plays a street punk/oi which is more powerful than the traditional oi, but it never goes the oi/core way. It’s smooth and pleasant: the songs get straight to the point but also contain “melodic” (sorry for the term) plots, which give it personality.
The album is massive and well-crafted (English lyrics in the booklet are a good idea) and it’s not easy to find a song that dominates the others, because they all are on the same, real good, level.
The album closes in a great way, with a Pino Masi cover, “L’ora Del Fucile”. See you next time and congratulations to the band!
