“The Last Scene”, a documentary on underground music scenes

“The Last Scene” by Kyle Kilday is in production

American director Kyle Kilday is making a documentary about the birth of various underground music scenes between the late 90s and the beginning of the new millennium. The protagonists are the punk, emo and hardcore kids who gave life in that period of great changes to what according to many can be considered the last truly underground scene (hence the title “The Last Scene”).
The documentary will feature a series of interviews with some of these key figures, including Travis Shettel (Piebald), Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife/I Am The Avalanche), Peter Munters (Over It/Runner Runner), Shane Told (Silverstein/Lead Singer Syndrome Podcast), Mark Rose (Spitalfield/Mark Rose/Downwrite.com), Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday/The Color Fred), Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Amy Fleisher Madden (Fiddler Records), Ben Jorgensen (Armor For Sleep), John Tran (Home Grown), Chris No. 2 (Anti-Flag), JT Woodruff (Hawthorne Heights), Geoff Rickly (Thursday) and many others.
Kilday has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to make the film, which you can see below along with the trailer.
