They come from Emilia Romagna, precisely from Forli’, they formed in 2014 and they are charged up more than you could wish for! We are talking about the SquilibrioS, a punk rock band with clear ideas and a strong desire to play punk rock music, direct and without anycomplicated fineries. But let’s now investigate direclty on who this guys are and what do they do…

Line up:
Michel –  Storyteller, Guitar
Negro –  Guitar and Beers
Berga – Drum and Sweet Hugs
Morgan – Bass and B12

R: Radio Punk
S: SquilibrioS

-R: Hi guys, how are you? Introduce yourself to our readers…
-S: Hi RADIO PUNK we are the SquilibrioS and we have it almost stiff.

-R: Where does your name SquilibrioS come from and above all why is the S at the end always upper case? LOL
-S: Our name allows people to understand what we really are, 4 brainless guys, (in fact “Squilibrio” stands for “Unbalanced / Disturbed” which is what happens when you lack brain!). The S at the end is because it makes it sound Spanish and cool.

-R: To my surprise, I know that you just released an EP Self Titled, which is super fast for a band formed on 2014, but it has a direct style and I like it a lot… How would you define your EP and more in general what would you like to express with your songs?
-S:  The EP was released quickly because we wanted to tell the world immediately that we are here and that we really have the desire to play. We would like to make funny songs and with simple lyrics (we’d like to avoid problems, today there are already too many people talking about them) but not trivial or without a meaning. Our lyrics always have a meaning hidden behind false crazyness.

-R: Future projects (Live, album, merchandise, various initiatives)?
-S: We are about to go to the studio to record our second EP and then we would like to get a tattoo.

-R: Why did you chose to sing in italian? What do you think about the italian bands that sings in english?
-S: We sing in italian because even if we know the english language, out mother tongue allows us to express ourself better by using word play, idioms and assonances that we would not have with the english language. Singing in english is a choice, it has his pros and cons.

-R: How do you see the local scene in Italy? And how is it represented in your geographic area?
-S: The italian scene is not good and not bad, even if the musical genre is often liked by masses, like musicians playing jazz or blues saying: “I like the punk when it is ignorant”.
In our geographical area there are more than a few bands and with some of them we had the pleasure to share the stage, but on the other hand, the venues and the spaces for playing are becoming less.

-R: Well guys, it was fun and I thank you very much for your time… I leave you with the usual free space to tell whatever you have in your mind and share it with our readers! See you soon!
-S: Goodbye guys and thanks so much to you, we would like to tell our friends that we like Coco Pops (cereals), the beer, boobies and that sometimes we get late for reharsal, but our single and the EP are available for download on Band Camp and they have graphics that are Oh Yeah! Up for the bananas!
